INTRODUCTION Social media platforms are commonly used worldwide, affecting every-day living of billions people. It may impacts both self-esteem and self-evaluation its users. Formed by social influence, the ideal beauty standards lead to an unhealthy comparison, need external validation pursuit appearance. Induced body image dissatisfaction could be cause many different eating disorders or rigorous exercises. Promoted media, body-image creates focus on BMI, weight shape one’s own body. PURPOSE The aim this study is present current state knowledge impact evolving with image, followed disorders. METHODS For purposes writing article, available literature was reviewed. database medical publications – PubMed publicly books searched, using keywords such as disorders, RESULTS According reviewed studies, spending more time following intensifies among young women men, a result negative upward comparison their A problematic use, passive focused image-related platforms, heightens risk developing self-dissatisfaction concerns. Disordered behaviors significantly connected frequent use platforms.
